X50 Flag Mounts was started because we were tired of having flags wear out after 500 miles or less. We worked for years to develop our design and patent it. We also have well over a million miles of testing in every weather condition imaginable.
We not only wanted to have the highest quality flag mounts on the market, we strive to have the best customer service before and after the sale. I general we live by the golden rule, treat others as you want to be treated. We also listen to our customers because they will tell us what they want. Out customers and their input is what has made our flag mounts what they are today, and we want to thank all of you for your input.

How The Wings Work
- The Wings deflect air around the flag, thus preventing and prolonging flag life by reducing the whip of the flag.
- The slots regulate air flow to the flag, providing just enough air to ensure the flag flies perfectly at all speeds.
By controlling the airflow around the flag you will see two great benefits:
- Your flags will last 30,000 miles (or more) in clean airflow at highway speeds. If not in direct airflow they could upwards of 50,000+ miles.
- The flags will fly quietly as if they were not even there

Crystal Finishing, the company that extrudes all of our aluminum for our parts, tested our mounts on their trucks. This particular truck ran from Wausau, WI to the Carolina’s. The picture on the right is after 50,000 miles. As you can see there is very little wear on the flags. They are a little dirty and faded due to the harsh detergents used to wash the trucks.
With our wing design you can expect to get 30,000 mile out of 11.5″ x 15″ flags and 50,000 miles or more from the two flag configuration. That is for cars and trucks were the flag mounts are in extreme weather conditions and in direct air flow.
Customers with motorcycles where the flags are behind the rider we have had customers with incredible results of over 160,000 miles on 11.5″ x 15″ flags.
